The Morris Orchard Natural Burial site sits on 7.5 acres within the 33 acre property. The natural burial grounds are divided into three sections; The Chestnut Grove, The Walnut Grove, and The New Orchard. The Chestnut and Walnut Groves have limited plot options due to the maturity of the tree root systems. The outlined plots in this image are what is available for plot purchases in 2025.

The begining of a new re-generation
The open sweeping meadow next to the Walnut and Chestnut Grove’s is home to the New Orchard. Here we are planting a diverse nut and fruit orchard throughout a more extensive grid of plots. There is the option to select a plot next to a newly planted tree, or allow the Morris Orchard to select. $2,800-3,200.
Around each newly planted tree there are also options for cremated interments. $900.
We offer memorial benches throughout the site, commemorated with a plaque in the name of loved ones.$1,200.
And lastly, but not least is the opportunity to sponsor a memorial gazebo. This timber framed structure will become a centerpiece at the Orchard. Please contact us if interested in learning more.

Walnut Grove

A legacy of loving Care
The Walnut Grove is lined with beautify bold walnut trees and open meadow alleys. These 35 year-old trees were planted by Morris Montesson with loving care that shows in their perfectly spaced rows and healthy growth.
Plot spacing here is limited to four plots wide. $3,200-3,600.

Chestnut Grove

Mighty & Magestic
The Chestnut Grove sits at the heart of a 60 year-old majestic chestnut orchard. Here the trees touch above in a beautiful series of arches. Because of the tree maturity in this section plots are limited 2 wide between rows. $3,600-3,900.
Note that chestnut trees live hundreds of years and these trees are yet in their infancy.
The Chestnut Grove also has cremation internment plots around a large majestic chestnut tree. $1,500.
A limited number of memorial trees for a personalized bench and up to four cremation internments.
